As a little girl I was never a reader unless it caught my supreme interest. My mother would have me reading books and I would fall asleep by the 3rd page. Dreary and depressing, I couldn’t take reading books I couldn’t grasp heed in.
However, one day she took me to the library and that is when I found “The Babysitters Club.” One of the greatest book collections that ever existed. Exciting, funny and everything a young girl could relate to as a preteen.
“love to read, and I don’t believe that you have to finish one book before you start another.”
— The Baby-Sitters Club #14: Hello, Mallory
Never have i ever…..
As I grew older into my teen years the most excited I’d become would be reading manga books. Back to front is a thing in Japanese culture (don’t quote me) but I believe I’m correct. The ever so, mystery chapter books, as well where you skip chapters around reading the book. Never have I ever, finished a book I didn’t like. Ugh, horrible!
now getting to my booklist
As an adult I’ve veered off from mystery, sci-fi and have mostly self improvement reeds. My first book was given to me by a man I met at a Los Angeles Lakers Game. Thick Face Black Heart, which was written by Chin-Ning Chu. Oddly enough, “Thick Face Black Heart” changed my life. Since then, I’ve acquired more of Chu’s other books. It is a pleasure gifting them to others, in my own right mindedness. “The Art of War for Women,” “Do Less, Achieve More” are also additions to my book collection.
Directly, let’s move on to “Happy Money” by Ken Honda. This is the greatest read for one who is interested in manifesting a better relationship with money. Ken Honda’s Happy Money helps one understand how to advance the connection along with the energy around money. I truly admire everything about his writing. Obviously, there isn’t enough space to keep going about my entire collection. With that said, here is the list all the books that I’ve been most inspired by. Enjoy!
